#The Substrate

The Substrate is a human designation for structures and pathways that appear to descend beyond ordinary Infinigrid mapping. Researchers use the term, but they do not agree on what it names. It may be beneath the Infinigrid, part of it, what generates it, something the network passes through—or a misunderstanding caused by trying to describe higher-dimensional structure in human language.
